We’ll start the night off with cocktails and observing a traditional tea ceremony. The bride and groom pour and present tea to their families to receive blessings and unify their houses.
Afterwards we’ll be savoring a traditional 10 course Chinese wedding meal. Brush up on your chopstick skills, dishes are served family style.

We’ll be celebrating an abridged Cambodian wedding ceremony in honor of the bride’s heritage. This gilded affair traditionally lasts a week, but we’re sampling only the best parts!

GROOM’S PROCESSION

The Groom’s Procession kicks off the event with a small parade! Guests can join the groom in carrying his presents in offering the bride and her family gifts. Traditionally they are used as an indicator of financial stability and goodwill.
HAIR CUTTING
កាត់សក់
A symbolic event, guests are encouraged to join in and pretend to cut the couple’s hair. This gesture allows the bride and groom to have a fresh start in their new life together.
KNOT TYING
ចងដៃ
Literally translating into tying hands. Friends and family tie blessed strings around the couple’s wrists, by doing this blessing they literally and figuratively aid in joining the bride and groom’s hands.
FLOWER THROWING

To close out the ceremony, palm tree flowers will be distributed for guests to shower the wedded couple!
